How does billing work?

If you subscribed via the web:

  1. Login to BritBox.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Under Subscription & billing, click Manage.
  4. You will see your current card details and an option to Update card.
  5. Enter your new card details.
  6. Click Confirm to save your updated card details.


To change your iTunes billing information via your iOS device:

  1. Go to your device Settings.
  2. Select iTunes & App Store.
  3. Select your Apple ID.
  4. Select View Apple ID.
  5. Enter your email and password if it is requested.
  6. Select Manage payments.
  7. Select your payment method.
  8. Update your payment details.
  9. Select Done to save your updated card details.

Can I enable parental controls?

Yes, you can. To enable parental controls:


  1. Log in to BritBox.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Under Parental lock toggle to Enabled.
  4. Enter a four-digit PIN.
  5. Click Set PIN.
  6. When prompted, enter your password and click Confirm.


If you want to watch a programme that is restricted, you will be asked to enter your PIN before you can watch. You can update your PIN at any time.


If you are using the BritBox app on a YouView device (Set-top box or YouView Sony TV), then note that the parental controls are managed through the YouView device settings, and not via the BritBox app.
